Blue Fox Carpentry provides value be serving those who don't have the skills, time, or desire to service their home themselves. We are committed to delivering craftsmen to your home that are skilled, reliable, and trustworthy. Our carpenters have devoted years to training, and carry a high degree of responsibility both for your home and the business of Blue Fox Carpentry. This allows us to take on projects that are small, unique, and challenging.
We believe that in exchange for this, our lead carpenters deserve a living wage. We define this as a wage that can support a small family and, if managed well, provide savings for the future. This principle guides our fee structure and is fundamental to our business model.
Our policy on markup
Blue Fox Carpentry works every day to deliver the right combination of material, tools, and skill to offer a quality service. We attend trade shows and read multiple books and magazines to stay current with the best products and practices. We never stop networking with other service providers to bring the right team into your home. We also warrant the products we use and the service we provide. We believe the sum of these is worth more than the individual parts and justifies a markup of 10 to 15%.
Our use of subcontractors
The foundation of Blue Fox Carpentry is skilled craftsmen that earn their living servicing your home. The core carpentry services we provide are completed with our own staff. We do use subcontractors for some services if we believe it is in your best interest. This may happen if we do not have the skills or cannot compete with the efficiency of a dedicated specialty contractor.
